Delhi-based agricultural logistics company Sohan Lal Commodity Management has closed an INR1.3bn ($23.5m) Series C round, according to VC Circle.
Sohanlal Commodity provides warehouse management and procurement solutions to farmers, processors, traders, agri exchanges and government across 70 locations and 12 states in India.
The company works as a service provider for some of the largest companies in the agri-commodity space such as Cargill, AWB, Adani, Jindal, Ruchi Soya, Louis Dreyfus and Glencore.
Everstone and EIF took 25.55 per cent and 6.93 per cent stakes in the company. Mayfield and Nexus previously invested INR355m ($6.45m) in Sohanlal Commodity in March last year.
