Germany and Poland-focused investment firm bmp media investors has sold its majority stake in bmp Beteiligungsmanagement subsidiary, and completing the realignment of the firm towards a pure venture capital company with focus on media and marketing services.
The stake in the company, which originally has been a 100 per cent subsidiary, amounted to 49.6 per cent. Due to the disposal of the shares bmp media investors obtained sales proceeds of €534,000, it said.
The remaining shares in bmp Beteiligungsmanagement are set to be sold in 2012, resulting in further revenues of around €700,000.
Bmp media investors focuses on companies in the seed, start-up and expansion phases. The firm’s current portfolio includes brand eins Medien, Xamine, Ubertweek and dailyme.
Exits include Pomocni nugg.ad, K2 Internet, Nokaut, Bankier, Yoc, Gamigo and eProfessional.
