The trio, who are all existing investors in the company, were convinced to hand over more cash thanks to a strong 2011 which saw the business’s monthly turnover climb to €1.5m.
windeln said it would use the funding to extend its range to include car seat, strollers and baby clothing.
DN managing partner Nenad Marovac said, “The performance of windeln.de in 2011 was extraordinary.
“The growth in monthly sales of 600 percent year-on-year has certainly exceeded our expectations.”
Munich-based Acton Capital was launched in 2008 focusing on investing in internet and mobile consumer-oriented businesses.
Its partner in windeln, DN Capital, is a global early stage and growth capital investor in digital media, e-commerce and software companies.
Last week DN took part in a second round of venture financing for marketing technology company Performance Horizon Group.
