Netherlands private equity firm AAC Capital Partners has sold tour operator RP Holidays to Gilde Buy Out Partners.
The company’s management, including CEO Henk van Koeveringe, are to re-invest in the deal.
Operating tours and holidays throughout Europe under the Roompot brand, RP holidays generated a turnover of €233m in 2010, and operates 31 holiday parks in the Netherlands and Germany.
Gilde is an independent private equity investor with operations in the Netherlands, Belgium , Germany, Switzerland and France. It manages funds in excess of €2bn and is majority shareholder in Gamma Holding, Hofmann Menü, Royal Nedschoef, Powerlines and Plukon Royale.
