3i closes Irish office citing general economic slowdown
09/04/2003. Europe's largest private equity firm 3i is closing its Dublin office. ‘The reason is due to slower than expected development of the Irish private equity market, which has been impacted by the general economic slowdown,' the firm said in a statement.

Deals update: Private equity investment activity remains subdued
