Clean Resources Asia launches long-only water fund26/08/2008. Source: AltAssets. 
 CLSA Capital Partners' CRA Management has launched a third fund, Clean Water Asia Long Only Fund, a long-only, principally listed equity focused fund. CRA principal and CIO Andrew Pidden explained that this third fund was part of Capital Partners' strategy to roll out the clean investment platform into a full service group, from unlisted through long-only to hedge funds.
The fund was launched with an initial investment of $35m from a London-based investment firm.
CRA principal and head of research Anthony Wilkinson said, 'Through our existing funds, CRA has developed a very strong understanding of the Asian water and waste management space and our knowledge of this fast growing and extremely undervalued industry sector was invaluable in achieving the mandate for this new fund.'
With the addition of this ninth fund, CLSA Capital Partners now has approximately $3bn under management.
