Petteri Änkilä, the CEO of Finnish private equity firm Amanda Capital, is to step down. The firm's CFO, Petter Hoffström, will serve as acting CEO, the firm said. Änkilä has been Amanda's CEO since March 2004.
The firm has also appointed Ilkka Rantanen as a director, business development. He currently works as an investment professional for Credit Suisse Private Equity Fund, DLJ Merchant Banking Partners in London.
Earlier this year, Amanda announced that it was establishing a new vehicle to invest globally in listed private equity firms and funds.
Amanda Group currently has €2.4bn of assets under management. The firm invests in funds across Europe, the US, Asia and Russia.
