Researcher Sarah Pratt joins Sovereign from Citigroup Global Markets18/08/2008. Source: AltAssets. 
 UK lower mid-market private equity firm Sovereign Capital has hired Sarah Pratt as a researcher. Sovereign now has a 20-strong investment team. Pratt will be responsible for supporting Sovereign's ongoing research in its defined service-based sectors of education and training, healthcare and support services.
Pratt joins Sovereign from Citigroup Global Markets, where she served as a researcher supporting an investment banking team.
David Myers, director of business development for Sovereign, said, 'We are very pleased to welcome Sarah to the team to further enhance our sector research and development capability. Following the appointments of Taha Hasan and Tom Matthews in July, we are delighted to continue to strengthen our investment team in anticipation of further attractive deal flow.'
Sovereign has completed ten transactions in 2008 including three platform investments; most recently 1st Saxon-Clenmay for its new social housing maintenance platform Renovo.
Sovereign has £450m under management.
