Maveron hires consumer brands and digital media specialist Amy Errett as partner15/08/2008. Source: AltAssets. 
 Seattle, Washington-headquartered venture capital firm Maveron has appointed Amy J Errett as a partner. Errett will focus on consumer digital media, internet services and e-commerce ventures. She will be based in the firm's San Francisco office.
Most recently, Errett served as CEO of lifestyle company Olivia and Olivia.com. She also founded M&A advisory firm The Spectrem Group and was an officer and part of the senior management team at E*Trade.
Errett currently serves on the boards of iBloks and LiveMocha.
Maveron co-founder Dan Levitan said, 'We have known Amy for some time and have seen her success in building and growing businesses and brands - she is truly an ideal Maveron partner.'
Maveron, founded in January 1998, has recently invested in companies including Potbelly Sandwich Works, Pinkberry and LiveMocha. The firm has approximately $850m under management. It invests up to about $20m per company.
