 Apollo Global Management has appointed Gary M Stein to the newly created position of director of investor relations. Stein will be responsible for establishing and maintaining interactions with current and prospective investors, research analysts and the general investment community.
He joins Apollo from NYSE Euronext, where he most recently served as the head of investor relations. He previously also worked at Morgan Stanley and Patricof & Co. Ventures.
Apollo has offices in New York, Los Angeles, London, Singapore, Frankfurt and Paris and assets under management of around $40bn.
The firm's activities include private equity, hedge funds, distressed debt and mezzanine funds.
