Manchester-based private equity and property fund Infinity has opened a new office in Mayfair, London, from which it plans to expand its activities into the South of England.
Infinity plans to appoint approximately 15 investment and property specialists to the London base. In Manchester, the firm currently has a 14-strong team.
Co-founding partners Daniel Finestein and Sarah Butler, together with property partner Les Lang, have announced that they will share their time between the London and Manchester offices.
Finestein said, 'Since the fund's launch at the beginning of 2007, we have achieved considerable growth, particularly in the North West of England.
'With four investment deals and our first property transaction completed, several more in the pipeline, and a team of 14 talented specialists in place, we think the time is ripe to expand operations in the South of England as a natural progression for Infinity,' Finestein added.
Infinity was launched in February 2007 by three accountants, with initially £20m under management.
In January of this year, it set up a property fund with a £100m target.
