Emerging markets private equity firm Actis has appointed three new directors to its global infrastructure business. Robert McGregor will be based in the firm's Singapore office to head the South East Asia region, where he will be joined by Vivek Dixit. Sanjiv Aggarwal will join the firm's Delhi office to lead Actis's infrastructure business in South Asia. McGregor has held various positions across Asia since 1997, including head of power and utilities (Asia) for UBS, head of investment banking (Asia) for Société Générale and director of power and utilities (Asia) for Dresdner Kleinwort Benson. Before moving to Asia, he was head of corporate strategy at British Energy and head of marketing and sales at Scottish Hydro.
Dixit was previously at Société Générale where he was director, corporate finance advisory, Asia, based in Singapore.
Aggarwal spent seven years at Citigroup, most recently as head of power, energy, chemicals, mining and transportation for India. Prior to Citigroup, he worked at ANZ Investment Bank for nine years across debt and equity capital markets

Actis invests in infrastructure businesses throughout Africa, China, Latin America and South and South East Asia, with a particular focus on power, roads, ports and airports. Investments include Globebeq, TRAC, South Asia Gateway Terminals (SAGT) and Grain Bulk Handlers.
