UK firm ECI to sell Bounty for £70m16/11/2007. Source: AltAssets. 
UK mid-market buy-out firm ECI Partners has agreed to sell UK parenting club Bounty to Toronto-based family-focused online media company Kaboose for £70m. Bounty is a marketing and advertising platform in the UK targeting new and expectant mothers, with over 2.4 million members. ECI has been involved with Bounty since funding an MBO in December 2004.
Based in London and Manchester, ECI specialises in buy-outs, buy-ins and development capital deals of between £10-150m.
ECI recently acquired Kelvin Hughes, a supplier of navigation products and services for the naval and commercial marine sectors, in a £52m deal; and sold M and M Direct, a UK-based online and mail order retailer of discounted lifestyle, fashion and sports apparel and footwear, to US buy-out firm TA Associates for an undisclosed sum.
