European mid-market private equity investor HgCapital has announced several changes to its senior management. Leonard Licht is retiring after seven years as chairman of HgCapital. Licht will remain a senior adviser and partner of the firm. Ian Armitage, currently chief executive, will assume the role of chairman. Frances Jacob becomes deputy chairman and will continue to chair the investment committee. Nic Humphries will be chief executive and will continue to be head of the TMT sector team.
Richard Donner and Karsten Hartmann have been promoted to partners, while Alex King, Philipp Schwalber, Emma Tinker and Justin von Simson have been promoted to director.
HgCapital focuses on investments with an enterprise value in the range of €75-500m.
