 NBGI Private Equity has appointed Joseph Bergin as director, based in Manchester. Bergin will be involved in all aspects of the firm's investment activities, including deal origination, execution, portfolio management and exit, with a focus on the North of England.
He joined NBGI Private Equity from Octopus Asset Management, where he was director for their VCT funds. Previously he spent nine years at 3i.

Recently NBGI has made a number of successful investments and exits and we are looking forward to building on this success in our second fund. NBGIPE focuses on investments in 'traditional economy' businesses in the UK and Ireland. The firm typically provides equity funding of £2m to £15m, principally for buy-outs.
