 BC Partners has agreed to acquire Chiswick, London, UK-headquartered estate agency Foxtons and mortgage broker group Alexander Hall Associates. The deal is reportedly worth about £400m.
Foxtons had revenues in 2006 of over £100m. The company was founded by Jon Hunt in 1981, opening its first office in Notting Hill.
Alexander Hall was established as an independent mortgage advisor in 1992.
BC Partners is a pan-European private equity firm with offices in Geneva, Hamburg, London, Milan and Paris.
