 Ventech, the French venture capital firm, which invests in seed and early-stage companies in information technology and life sciences, has recruited Phillipe Bouissou as a partner. Bouissou joins the firm from Allegis Capital where he was a general partner.
Bouissou was previously senior vice president of Matra Hachette Multimedia and also worked for Apple computers. At Ventech he will share responsibility for software investments with partner Eric Huet.
Ventech manages approximately E200m and invests two-thirds of its funds in information technology companies and the remainder in life sciences industries. The firm's most recent IT investment was made to Arteris, a French semiconductor start-up.
