US buy-out giant Warburg Pincus & Co has appointed Mimi Wolfe Strouse to serve as a partner in the business technology and services group. Strouse was previously a principal at General Atlantic Partners.
Strouse will concentrate on business process outsourcing and human capital management, according to PrivateEquityCentral. She joined General Atlantic in 1996 and before that was a financial analyst in the mergers and acquisitions division of Credit Suisse Boston.
Warburg Pincus closed its tenth fund, Warburg Pincus Private Equity VIII, at the end of April with $5.3bn raised. The business and technology services group focuses on investments with companies whose products and services leverage a company's underutilised assets and provide customers with discernible competitive advantages.
