 UK firm Aberdeen Murray Johnstone Private Equity (AMJPE) has appointed Andrew Glennon as a senior portfolio manager in its Leeds office.
He joins from the manufacturing firm Christy Group, where he had been group finance director since 1998.
‘It is a great pleasure to welcome Andrew to AMJPE. He has excellent experience of the commercial world and running companies as well as a sound background in accountancy. We look forward to him playing an important role within our team,' said Sarah Pullan, head of the Leeds office.
Many of the UK's mid-market buy-out specialists have been building up their teams in anticipation of a pick-up in activity. AMJPE invests in a wide range of industry sectors, usually investing between £500,000 and £15m.
