DrKC names new regional director for its Emerging European Group

Dresdner Kleinwort Capital has announced that Nicholas Kabcenell, formerly head of strategy and M&A at telecoms operator Carrier 1, has joined the firm as regional director of its Emerging European Group.

Based in Budapest, Hungary, Kabcenell will be responsible for Hungary and neighbouring countries. He will also join DrKC's Investment Committee for its $225m Emerging Europe Fund.

Previously Kabcenell worked for Schroder Salomon Smith Barney focusing on Central and Eastern Europe and for CA-IB Securities.

Dresdner Kleinwort Capital has recently extended its reach into Central and Eastern Europe by launching a number of MBO clubs throughout the region including Hungary, Poland and the Czech Republic.
