A leading US private investment firm with over $26bn of assets invested in private equity, real estate and distressed opportunities is looking to hire an associate to join their real estate team in London. Investing in a variety of assets from direct equity and mezzanine to distressed and special situations, by joining the real estate team you will be able to participate in all stages of the investment process from evaluating opportunities to managing existing positions. Please note that this is a short term position with view to becoming permanent .
- To be successful in this application you should have
- A strong academic background
- Demonstrable experience gained in investment banking, corporate finance or real estate
- Should ideally be based in London and have strong focus on the UK - - Real Estate market throughout their career
- Good understanding of the investment process
- Excellent financial modelling skills
- Strong quantitative and analytical skills
- Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously with accuracy and attention to detail
- Able to work both independently and as a team member
