A US private equity fund of funds advisor and fund investor is looking to hire an investment analyst to join their continuously growing European fund investing team based in London. Reporting directly to the Associate Director, you will be highly involved in all aspects of the private equity fund investing programme across Europe, evaluating investment opportunities, performing research, financial and commercial due diligence and preparing supporting information required for the investment committee. As part of the role you will also monitor existing investments and maintain a close relationship with existing fund managers. In your day to day role you will have the opportunity to interact and work cross borders with the US based team. To be successful in this role, you will have
- A strong academic degree with a 2.1 minimum or equivalent
- Corporate Finance or M&A experience ideally with exposure to private equity transactions
- Strong analytical and financial modelling skills
- Experience of undertaking strategic reviews of businesses and market research
- Demonstrable commercial judgment and good presentation skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and an additional - European Language would be a plus
- A collaborative and co-operative style.
