Sorin hires Matt Chasin as COO and partner13/08/2008. Source: AltAssets. 
 US-based alternative investment firm Sorin Capital Management has appointed Matt Chasin as COO, partner and member of the investment committee. Chasin will be responsible for all non-investment activities, focusing on the operational and financial aspects of Sorin. He will also be responsible for managing all borrowing relationships and activities for the Sorin funds.
Prior to joining Sorin, Chasin was a senior managing director and head of the repo financing activities for mortgage and structured products at Bear Stearns. Chasin started his career at Chemical Bank as an investment banking analyst.
