Looking back at Europe’s debt crisisp

While corporate asset prices in Europe are currently priced at a 27 per cent discount to the average in the rest of the world, some of the discount is related to slower expected growth in Europe than elsewhere. Most of it reflects a disaster risk premium for accepting exposure to a low-probability but high-impact event, according to a recent report from Carlyle looking at the European debt crisis.
